When it comes to diving, having the right equipment is crucial for both enjoyment and enjoyment. One piece of the gear that is often overlooked but is essential for many divers is a prescription diving mask.

As an avid diver and lover of the open ocean this is dear to my heart. With over 15 years of experience in scuba diving I have seen people struggle with their vision on dive adventures. From contacts falling out on small dive boats to people struggling to enjoy the sea life with their clear dive masks. I was happy to partner with Sea Vision to help fellow divers enjoy the beauty of the world below the water. Not only do we offer masks to try on in office for fit but we can also send your favorite mask to have a prescription put into your masks. My diving experience gives the ultimate insight to finding the proper prescription for your scuba and snorkel needs.

For those who wear glasses or contact lenses, wearing a regular diving mask can be uncomfortable and even dangerous. Prescription diving masks are specially designed allowing you to see clearly and enjoy your diving experience to the fullest.

One of the main benefits of a prescription diving mask is that it eliminates the need to wear contacts while diving. Contacts can be inconvenient and uncomfortable underwater, and there is always a risk of losing them prescription mask the hassle of contacts.

Another benefit of prescription diving masks is that they can be customized to your specific prescription requirements. Whether you are nearsighted, farsighted, or have astigmatism, a prescription diving mask can be made to fit optimal vision clarity while underwater, enhancing your overall diving experience.

We've partnered with SeaVision in St Petersburg, Florida to offer custom ground prescription lenses. This allows divers, snorkelers, and swimmers to experience the same great vision underwater as on land. They DO NOT glue or bond lenses into your mask or swim goggles. The prescription is custom made in the laboratory, just the way your eye doctor prescribed. SeaVision Custom Bifocal lenses are designed for people having difficulties seeing their dive computer AND seeing in the distance, which may include astigmatism. If your prescription has an add power or you normally wear bifocals/progressives, then these lenses are the perfect choice for your dive. SeaVision Custom Bifocal lenses are available in all SeaVision Masks: Standard Clear, Color Correcting, or MaxVision filters. Lear More at about max vision and color Correcting lenses.
